LACMA

Yesterday I went on the best date - to the LACMA. I highly recommend it. At first we were planning on going to the La Brea Tarpits Museum, but when we got there it was just a bunch of tar. So we walked across the park to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. There were so many amazing exhibits! I am thinking about getting a year pass so I can visit whenever. It was really quite amazing.

My favorite exhibit was probably Urban Lights by Chris Burden. It was AMAZING at night and we just so happened to be outside when the lights were turned on. So pretty!

I realized that the 45-minute drive to Los Angeles is worth it today:) Especially on a Saturday without traffic. I plan on having more adventures there very soon.

But no trip up to LA for a hot date would be complete without going to MILK - this unbelievable dessert place. They have just about the best thing EVER there - Blue Velvet Cake. It has blueberries in it and cream cheese frosting and it looks like it was attacked by a smurf. Try it - you won't be disappointed.
