Lately love is all I think about - love for my roomies (you know who you are:), love for my cute little nephew Eli, love for falling in love, love for my family. So here are some tributes to this day of love. I am not going to celebrate "Single's Awareness Day" - I am celebrating Valentine's Day this year. It's a first:)
ELI

ROOMIES

My amazing family!
OK my family is amazing:) I love them so much! Let me count the reasons why:
Mom - she is always there to listen and trust me I make her and she never complains. She is always thinking about me and how to make me happier. She is truly selfless in every way and I love her.

Dad - One of the most unique and charismatic people I have ever known. Everyone loves my dad. He is beyond funny and clever and I wish I inherited his intelligence genes. I did, however, inherit his singing voice and we fight over the microphone and the stage every time we have the chance.
Tanner, Megan and Eli - What can I say? Picture perfect family! I love hanging out with these people! We can just hang out and watch favorite TV shows and eat Megan's fabulous cooking and feel at home. Stopping off in Santa Monica is a treat and I am so glad they live close.
Carly and Chad Carlson - When Chad came into Carly's life I knew it was for real. He treats her better than you can hope for one of the most special people in your life. They complement each other very well and are so much fun to be around! I can tell Carly anything and she is always concerned for my well-being. It is such a blessing to have her in my life. And Chad is her perfect match!

Alexa and Brad - Alexa has always been the light in our family because she is funny, witty and always has something clever and amazing to say and add to the conversation. When Brad entered her life it got even better! Now, she is also the person that I go to when I need spiritual guidance or advice. She is such a loyal person and is so positive! Brad is someone that just makes you feel good when you are around him. He has made such a comfortable transition into our family because he is so easy-going and easy to get along with.

BJ - Two words to describe this little, 16-year-old bundle of joy. My Baby. OK I am going to admit it here - when BJ was a baby not old enough to stop me, I used to carry him around and pretend he was my baby. I did it mostly for the shock factor from people who wondered what this world was coming to when a 13-year old girl had a baby, but I also did it because I love him so much. He has the kindest heart and there are moments when he even let's down the teenage guard and gives me a hug. My favorite BJ Valentine's moment was last year when he left me a phone message that said "Erin I wanted to call you on Valentine's Day because I figured no other guy would. So Happy Valentine's Day". I also love how he can never take a normal picture. Love you B!
Basically I love LOVE. In every way. And I am feeling it a lot these days... HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!
and I love erin because she is the most generous and warm hearted person I know. She is always up for anything especially if its karaoke. She can bake cupcake. She's beautiful. And last but not least she's the only one who has visited me!!!
ReplyDeleteI love Erin because she is always pushing herself either spiritually mentally physically. She is always up for a party and is an amazing hostess with her cooking and special baking! She always has so much wisdom and has the most amazing singing voice. She is always so caring and loves everybody. I love my Erin! Happy Valentines Day!
ReplyDeleteAWWWWWWWW - OK now Tanner and BJ have to write something...
ReplyDeleteThat was such an amazing tribute sweetie. You are the absolute best and I have loved you every minute for the past 30 plus years. There is no one that I admire more than you. You have always been the greatest daughter, sister, friend, aunt and missionary and saint. Heavenly Father has blessed all of our lives by giving us you. When our family history is written, you will always be remembered as everyone's favorite in so many ways.
