I am just not sure

I had mixed emotions going into the Season finale of The Bachelor on ABC. I have watched every episode, and also read the spoilers about a month ago (I know what you are thinking and sorry I can't wait - I even read the last chapter of every book I read before I get started). They all said it would be Chantal O. So that is what I was expecting. I know better than a lot of people that reality shows aren't nearly what you see on a screen. There is so much that happens behind the scenes of a show before you ever get to the happy ending and things are definitely not always as they seem. But here is the thing - Brad definitely liked Emily from the absolute beginning but it didn't look like she was that into Brad! I feel like I have been on both sides of that relationship so many times and it is frustrating. I think I am so interested in it because I have been going through my own relationship drama in the past few years and their banter on the After The Rose hit a little close to home. If you are really in love you just go for it right? I don't think Emily is all there - maybe it will come but right now things look rough.
On another note, I am really excited for the next season of The Mormon Bachelorette. One thing that I really love about doing this show is all the amazing people that I get to meet along the way. So many deserving girls are ready to put themselves out there to find true love and it is heart warming and empowering. It takes a lot of faith to put yourself on the line and go for it like they are. I am excited to meet all the new friends along the way and help another couple find true love.

Here's another thing - Ashley as the next Bachelorette? Really? She did nothing for me - I hope the guys out there feel differently. Great opportunity but wow I can't believe they are going in that direction. Honestly I think ABC would have been going out on a riskier and more exciting limb if they would have chosen Michelle - what an interesting twist that would have been. Plus, I was converted to the Michelle camp after "Women Tell All". Maybe it was my bleeding heart but after those harpies tore her apart as a mother and person on tv I was ready to go brawl. She deserves a shot at love - even sarcastic girls need romance. Especially if they are incredibly entertaining. Who's with me?

Regardless, I am thrilled to start another season of TMB and also watch the train wreckage of The Bachelor Pad on ABC next month. It gives me ideas left and right...

  1. Agreed, agreed on EVERY SINGLE LEVEL of this! I don't think Brad and Emily will make even though I love her. I thought Chantal O. was going to be it too so I was shocked! xoxo my dear! Can't wait to see you this weekend!
