To Melt or Not to Melt?

In my mind I think I am still naturally blond even though I haven't really been since I was about 8 years old. So now at the ripe age of 31 I have to decide whether to be blond and have dried out, damaged hair, or to go dark which I never think looks good on me but will give me shiny tresses. Maybe I am just afraid of the dark side or maybe I have commitment issues. Either way, I need to do something because the hair, skin and nails pills I have been religiously taking for the past several months either haven't kicked in yet or they don't work.

What do you guys think of Drew's look? I am pretty sure this is my happy medium for healthy-ing up my hair while keeping my blond. I am also pretty sure my natural color is close to the top of her melt.

Here goes melting???

  2. Its called Ombre and its all the rage right now. Jessica Biel, Rachel Bilson & Alexa Chung are all sporting it. You'll rock it!

  3. Bleach it and then dye it bright green. Trust me on this. I did it in high school.

  4. Love the Ombre look! I'm rocking it these days (not at cute as Drew unfortch) because I got knocked up and don't want to use bleach. :)

ps...I do a hot oil treatment with coconut oil and it helps with the dryness. Heat it up for a few seconds in the microwave, dump on your head, massage in, especially at the dry parts and the end, then pile in a bun and soak in a hat bath for a bit. Then wash it out. Good luck!
